On July 14th, we held our second E-Track Day, and this time, we were able to enjoy two full days of adventures and thrills. Even though the rain invited itself to the party, it didn't discourage the most passionate. A look back at an incredible weekend where the electric community came together to share, ride and have fun.
Preparations and Arrival
Three weeks. That’s how long we had to organize this event. We were hoping for 30 people, and although we reached 20, the intimate atmosphere that resulted was just perfect. Six fields-compounds, here we are. Arriving Friday night, we found a charming little Airbnb with a breathtaking view of the motocross circuit. Imagine waking up in the morning in front of a lacrosse field, breakfast in hand, ready to tackle the day.
First Impressions
On the morning of the big day, we had a briefing with Jimmy under a bright sun and a light breeze. The Supercross (SX) track had been reworked, and despite the technical appearance of the jumps and doubles, everything went well. The videos of Jimmy in the original Talaria had already impressed us, but seeing him in action on site was a whole other experience.
D-Day
July 14th was here, and despite a slightly soggy terrain, the riders were impatient. The sessions followed one after the other, and the smiles on the faces said it all. The novices took their time, but quickly found their marks. The more experienced took advantage of the breaks to give advice and encourage the beginners. The SX circuit, although difficult, did not fail to delight everyone, from the young 19-year-old rider to the Dakar veteran, Charlie.
An Inspiring Diversity
What really stood out this weekend was the diversity of the participants. From young to old, from motocross enthusiasts to professionals like Charlie, everyone found their place. We were even lucky enough to welcome a female participant, adding an extra touch to this friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
Machines in Action
The Talaria 4000s have proven themselves on the field. While some found the SX circuits intimidating, they quickly realized that these machines were up to the task. Even riders accustomed to thermal bikes were surprised by the handling and lightness of the electric models. The sessions went off without any major hitches, apart from a few broken screws and footpeg supports that needed replacing, proof of the intensity of the races.
An Essential Partner: Assure-Ton-Sport
We would like to warmly thank our partner, Assure-Ton-Sport, without whom this event would not have been possible. Thanks to them, we were able to offer insurance coverage to all participants, whether or not they had an FFM license. Their flexibility, allowing us to take out insurance by the day, was a real asset.
Conclusion
This second E-Track Day was a real success. We saw smiles, exchanges, advice and above all a lot of fun. The electric community continues to grow and strengthen, and we are proud to contribute to this dynamic. See you for the next E-Track Day, with even more participants, machines and unforgettable moments.
Thanks to everyone who made this weekend possible, and see you on the slopes!
