The Jo & Will team had the chance to participate in the first edition of the E-Adventure Festival, a unique event that brought together off-road electric enthusiasts. More than just a trade show, this festival was a true immersion into a world of enthusiasts. Follow us on this adventure where we discovered incredible motorcycles, met notable personalities, and tested our limits on new playgrounds.
The Festival Atmosphere: Much More Than Just a Fair
Far from traditional trade shows, the E-Adventure Festival took place in an idyllic setting, in the heart of the Morvan region, on the shores of Lake Settons. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. There were electric professionals, as well as enthusiasts from all walks of life. This event was an opportunity for us to discover the stands of brands like Talaria, Stark, E-Boost, and Electric Motion and to make new and enriching connections.
We were able to interact with experts, test electric models, and share our vision of E-Adventure. The event was on a human scale, with a friendly, family atmosphere. We were able to enjoy the sunset over the lake, take advantage of the entertainment, and interact with people who shared our passion for electric vehicles.
Our Tests and Discoveries: From the Light Bee to the Electric Porsche
On site, we had the chance to test the Talaria Sting in 21-18 configuration as well as our Light Bee in 19-16, on a small specially designed circuit. We also met the usual: Thomas Ampera and his Stark Varg, or Ricky with his supermoto bike.
We were also impressed by the student prototypes and retrofits of vintage vehicles, such as the 2CV and the Méhari, transformed into electric vehicles. We were also able to try e-foiling, a water-gliding experience that gave us unique sensations. And, unexpectedly, we even had the opportunity to drive an electric Porsche 911, a perfect example of a successful retrofit.
The Test Circuit: Unforgettable First Turns of the Wheel
The small circuit designed for testing electric motorcycles quickly transformed into a real playground, with its ruts, jumps, and technical areas. We were able to test the handling of our Light Bee (28kW) in 19/16, and the crossing capacity of our Talaria (18kW) in 21/18.
It was an opportunity to share our passion with visitors, create impressive demos, and witness the growing interest in electric motorcycles. The circuit evolved over the course of the race, becoming increasingly technical, but the atmosphere of sharing and conviviality remained the same.
Meetings and Exchanges: The E-Adventure Spirit
The E-Adventure Festival was also an opportunity to meet notable figures, such as the German E-Boost dealer, who let us try out his motorcycles and asked for our opinions. Enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, young and old, all driven by the same passion: electric mobility in the great outdoors.
We were also able to connect with our channel's subscribers, who came to greet us and share their enthusiasm for our videos. These encounters are always a source of motivation and pleasure for us, and they inspire us to continue sharing our passion with you.
Conclusion: A Promising First Edition
The E-Adventure Festival was a real success, both for the quality of the exhibitors and the friendly and festive atmosphere. This event allowed us to discover new brands, test new machines, and confirm our passion for electric off-roading. The opportunity to interact with other enthusiasts was a very enriching experience.
We sincerely hope that a second edition will take place and we will do everything we can to participate again. The potential is there, the desire too, and we are convinced that this event has a bright future ahead of it. Thank you, Guillaume, for the invitation!
